Vamberk

Industrial town in the valley of river Zdobnice, 5km southern of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. First mentioned in the year 1341, but it had been established about first half of 13rd century. The most interesting buildings are baroque church of st. prokop from the year 1898 and cemetery church of St. barbara from the years 1696-97. At the town-square you can visit the museum of lace with examples of world-famous Vamberk´s lace.
